What data do you collect?

Because of the way this website has been created, I collect data via cookies, contact form information and usage data for website analytics. I have put appropriate security measures in place to prevent unauthorised access to the data collected, protecting it from dissemination, modification and/or deletion.

All collected data is held within my digital systems and is only used for administration, analytics, relevant legal requirements, marketing and sales. You, as the user will have my intended usage explained and have the choice to decline my use of this information.

I use Mailchimp as my marketing platform. By subscribing, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to Mailchimp for processing.

Why do you need to collect data?

Most of the data I collect is in the form of cookies, these are used to present my website as intended; to work with relevant third parties such as social media platforms and to ensure optimal functionality.

Other data that I collect includes any information that you enter and submit via my contact form. This will be used by me to contact you regarding your enquiry/send you updates.

Beyond my legal/regulatory obligations, I will never share your information with third parties unless you explicitly ask me to or provide me with documented consent.

How long do you keep my data for?

I store your contact data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes I collected it for, including for any accounting, legal or reporting requirements. I also keep this information so that I have an accurate record of who I have spoken with regarding various projects. If you would like me to delete your information then please email amy@amyfrancissmith.com and I will confirm when your information has been deleted from my records, unless specifics are subject to an exemption under data protection laws in which case you will be notified of these. Please note that I may ask you for further confirmation of your identity in order to ensure that you have the right to access this data.
